Haryana Government approves 30 Water Supply and 9 Sewerage projects worth over Rs. 1300 crore for 15 Districts

Chandigarh, October 23 (K.K) – Haryana Government has decided to implement 30 Water Supply Projects costing Rs.1018 crore and 9 Sewerage Projects costing Rs. 283 crore for 15 districts namely Ambala, Hisar, Kurukshetra, Jind, Panchkula, Rohtak, Fatehabad, Sirsa, Charkhi Dadri, Yamunanagar, Karnal, Bhiwani, Mahendragarh, Kaithal and Palwal.

Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today accorded administrative approval for these crucial works to be implemented by the Public Health Engineering Department under Amrut 2.0 here today. CM further said that 18 water supply projects worth more than Rs. 425 Crore will soon be given a green signal for inclusive development across the state in the Public Health Engineering sector.

Giving more information in this regard, an official spokesperson informed regarding the approved Water Supply Projects which includes Construction of canal-based water supply scheme in Jind City at a cost of Rs. 388.27 crore, Augmentation of water supply scheme by constructing Raw Water pumping station, Renovation / Upgradation of Existing Structures at Water Works, Laying Rising Main & Distribution lines district Charkhi Dadri at a cost of Rs. 115 crore, Augmentation and Upgradation of Water Supply scheme of Barwala Town of District Hisar at a cost of Rs. 55.58 crore, Estimate for laying of balance distribution network and strengthening of existing water supply system in Narwana Town of District Jind at a cost of Rs. 44.55 crore, Augmentation and Upgradation of Water Supply Scheme (Additional Structure, Renovation and Strengthening of Existing Structures of Rajound, District Kaithal) at a cost of Rs. 34.24 crore, Augmentation of water supply scheme and strengthening of existing piping network at Adampur Town, Hisar at cost of Rs. 30.17 crore, Detailed estimate for renovation and upgradation of 1st and 2nd water works, Hansi Town, district Hisar at cost of Rs. 30.97 crore, Strengthening of water supply scheme Ambala City at a cost of Rs. 6.71 crore, Augmentation and renovation of Parthamar works Peoda Road at Kaithal Town, District Kaithal at a cost of Rs. 7.57 crore, Estimate for replacement of old/damaged AC/PVC pipeline with DI pipeline to avoid insanitary connection in Kurukshetra at a cost of Rs. 4.36 crore, Augmentation water supply scheme Ellenabad Town, Construction of Tanks, Repair of existing water works structures and laying of new water carrier from Southern Ghaggar Canal to existing water works at a cost of Rs. 17.14 crore.

The spokesperson listed the approved project as Replacement of existing outlived AC/PVC Water supply pipelines / Providing W/S lines in newly being developed areas of M.C. Barara of District Ambala at a cost of Rs. 3.07 crore, Repair of SS Tanks, boundary wall and connection of VVTPs with raw water augmentation of pumping machinery to supply raw water into all Water Treatment Plants at canal based main water works near DC office, Ambala City at a cost of Rs. 6.60 crore, Augmentation of water source for water supply scheme providing DI pipeline to replace damaged MS rising main, Construction of boosting station, and Laying of Distribution system in Pinjore Town, District Panchkula at the cost of 6.11 Crore, Providing raw water arrangement near Fatehabad Branch and providing and laying of Rising main for water works Uklana Mandi, District Hisar at the cost of 6.44 Crore, Construction of raw water pumping station, providing and laying of DI rising main, renovation /upgradation of abandoned water works at IDC Colony, Rohtak Town at the cost of 12.37 Crore, Augmentation of Water Supply Scheme Tohana Town and laying of water supply pipeline in leftout area and replacement of existing AC/PVC pipeline water supply pipeline at Tohana Town tehsil Tohana District Fatehabad at a cost of Rs. 39.61 crore, Providing Independent Canal Based Water Works at Ratia Town District Fatehabad at a cost of Rs. 59.60 crore, Providing Raw Water arrangement through Raw water lifting and laying, cutting, jointing of D.I pipe raw water rising main in Kalanaur, Rohtak at a cost of Rs. 17.54 crore.

Furthermore, Estimate for Augmentation of water supply providing boosting station and laying the balance pipeline in MC area of Nangal Choudhary, Mahendragarh at a cost of Rs. 4.42 crore, Strengthening and replacement of old pumping machinery of existing water works and boosting station and providing, laying, jointing, cutting, and testing of DI pipe distribution pipeline against abounded and new pipelines at various places of Rohtak Town at a cost of Rs. 10.59 crore Estimate for Hodal Town laying of balance distribution system and strengthening of existing after supply system in Hodal Town, Palwal at a cost of Rs. 5.24 crore, Augmentation and raw water arrangement for 1st and 2nd water works and distribution network for water supply scheme Bawani Khera town, District Bhiwani at a cost of Rs. 29.89 crore, Augmentation of water Supply at Bhuna town Distt. Fatehabad at a cost of Rs. 10.47 crore, Upgradation of Water Supply Scheme for Uchana Town District Jind under AMRUT-2 at a cost of Rs. 17.16 crore, Renovation/upgradation of structures at water works & laying the balance pipelines in MC area of Narnaund town district Hisar at a cost of Rs. 2.76 crore, Augmentation of water supply scheme Radaur town, district Yamuna Nagar at a cost of Rs. 1.18 crore, Water supply scheme for installation of 1 no. additional tubewell and strengthening of distribution system in Cheema colony at Pundri town district Kaithal at a cost of Rs. 3.15 crore, Estimate for Renovation of W/W Construction of 2 Boosting Station & Laying of water supply distribution system at a cost of Rs. 29.19 crore, Estimate for Updating of Water supply scheme Fatehabad town of Distt. Fatehabad at a cost of Rs. 18.61 crore.

Approved Sewerage Projects

The spokesperson listed the approved Sewerage Projects which includes Treatment system for sewage containing industrial wastewater at Yamuna Nagar and Jagadhari Districts at a cost of Rs. 193.58 crore, Strengthening         of Existing 800 mm and 1200 mm ID sewer line by using CIPP (Curved in Place Pipe) technology from timber market chownk near Khera and Arya chownk, Nadi Mohalla to Southern Disposal at Ambala City at a cost of Rs. 13.96 crore, Strengthening and replacement of old pumping machinery of existing sewerage disposal and main pumping stations and providing, Laying, jointing, cutting and testing of SW pipe sewer line against new pipeline at various places of Rohtak at a cost of Rs. 10.02 crore, Providing Cure technology in place pipe (CIPP) technology of existing sewer line of 750 mm (30") from Hospital Chowk to near Deventure Hotel via Kunjpura Road, Karnal at a cost of Rs. 22.14 crore, Rough Cost Estimate for strengthening of existing 600 mm i/d RCC pipe sewer line by providing CIPP technology from Sohna road near the house of Sanjay Parshad to Bhawan kund via Jaindipura in Palwal Town District Palwal at a cost of Rs. 7.24 crore, Extension of 400mm i/d DI Rising Main from Opposite Chaudhary Devi Lal University to Existing Main Pumping Station at Kelnia Road Sirsa, Construction of Collecting Tank and Pump Chamber at Exit Khairpur IPS Sirsa Town, Distt. Sirsa at a cost of Rs. 6.01 crore, Laying/ Improvement of Sewer Line in various streets, providing sewerage facilities in balance area of ward no. 26 of IPS Kanganpur at Sirsa Town at a cost of Rs. 6.90 crore, Rehabilitation of Existing 18 MLD Sewerage Treatment Plant & Construction of Tertiary Treatment Plant, Bahadurgarh, Jhajjar at a cost of Rs. 19.41 crore, Renovation and replacement of outlived pumping machinery, mechanical and electrical equipment in 2 STP at Kaithal at a cost of Rs. 4.36 crore.

Decks cleared for Construction of Canal Based Water Works at Rania, District Sirsa

Haryana CM also provided administrative approval for the purchase of Land through e-Bhoomi for construction of Canal Based Water Works for Rania town, District Sirsa. The Haryana Government has approved 14.15 crore for the purchase of Land.
