Haryana School Education Board team visited Gujarat Board

Chandigarh, October 23 (K.K)- A 05-member team led by Chairman, Haryana School Education Board, Bhiwani, Dr. V.P. Yadav and Secretary, Smt. Jyoti Mittal, visited Gujarat Education Board, Gandhi Nagar. The main objective of the team was to study the best practices & policies of Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education to bring further qualitative improvement in education and examination in Haryana.

        Giving this information, the Board Chairman said that in two days the team visited Gujarat Education Board, Gandhinagar, Education Department Gujarat, Gujarat Council of Educational Research and Training (GCERT), BISAG in order to obtain important information related to their education system.

        He informed that the team met Gujarat Board Chairman, Sh. A.J. Shah and Secretary, Sh. Naveen Kumar Vyas, where the education and working system of Gujarat Board was discussed in detail. After this, the team also visited the Education Department, Gujarat and a meeting was also held with the officers. Various discussions were held on skill and development related education. He said that education is being provided to students in Haryana state on five TV channels broadcast by Bhaskaracharya Institute for Space Applications and Geoinformatics (BISAG).

        Board Secretary said that on the last day of the tour, a visit was made to GCERT, Gujarat, where information was obtained about their functioning and latest implemented decision to improve quality education. After this, a special visit was made to the Vidya Samiksha Kendra, Secretary added. Vidya Samiksha Kendra does live monitoring of teachers and students through hi-tech technology.

        He said that whatever best policies are being adopted by Gujarat Board for qualitative improvement in the field of education, they will also be considered for implementation in the interest of the students of Haryana.
