Haryana Government approves 8 new works under Rural Augmentation programme worth over Rs. 1.25 crore

Chandigarh (KK)– As part of its efforts to improve water supply in the region, the Haryana Government has approved 8 new works worth over Rs. 1.25 crore under Rural Augmentation programme in district Ambala and Yamunanagar.

Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal gave administrative sanction to this crucial initiative.

Giving more information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that the 8 approved works includes Drilling of tubewell (in lieu of abandoned tube well) in village Ambwala (Bhil Chapper) of District Yamuna Nagar at a cost of Rs. 16.36 lakh, Installing new tubewell in Place of abandoned tube well in Village Ballana of District Ambala at a cost of Rs. 16.35 lakh, Installing new tubewell in place of abandoned Tube Well in village Dhurkara of Distt. Ambala at a cost of Rs. 16.35 lakh, Installing Additional tubewell at Village Partap Nagar, Block Partap Nagar of Distt. Yamuna Nagar at a cost of Rs. 15.25 lakh.

Furthermore, Installing new tubewell in Place of abandoned tube well in Village Ballana of Distt. Ambala at a cost of Rs. 18.43 lakh,  Installing new tubewell in place of abandoned Tube Well in village Dhurkara of Distt. Ambala at a cost of Rs. 15.71 lakh, Drilling of tubewell (in lieu of abandoned tube well) in village Ambwala (Bhil Chapper) of Distt. Yamuna Nagar at a cost of Rs. 9.52 lakh, Installing additional tubewell in Village Partap Nagar of Distt. Yamuna Nagar at a cost of Rs. 17.11 lakh.

Spokesperson further informed that Chief Minister has directed officers to commence these projects at the earliest and also to set up a deadline in order to complete the projects in stipulated time frame.
