Team India remains unbeaten in league stage - to play NZ in semis

Indian cricket team has finished their 9 games without suffering a defeat in the league stages of the ongoing cricket World Cup in India. Notably, this is the third time in a World Cup edition when every team has faced each other in the league stage but only the first time ever when a team has remained unbeaten.

The last match against Netherlands ended with a comprehensive 160 run victory for India. They will be up against New Zeleand in the semi-finals which will played on 15th November in Mumbai. Team India had lost to NZ in the previous edition of the World Cup in 2019 at semi-final stage.
