Haryana CM Manohar Lal energizes Rajasthan campaign with Hanumangarh Road Show, Predicts end of Congress misgovernance
Chandigarh,(KK) - Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is poised to form the government in Rajasthan, with the upcoming elections reflecting a growing enthusiasm among the common citizens for the party.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal, a prominent figure in the BJP, made these statements during a road show in Hanumangarh district, where he expressed confidence in securing victory not only in the Hanumangarh assembly seat but also in most other seats across the district.
The Chief Minister, a key campaigner for the BJP, addressed the public in support of party candidate Amit Sahu, highlighting the visible support for the party on the streets. He noted that the collaboration between like-minded people in various regions helps in understanding and addressing local challenges effectively. Drawing parallels with the governance in Haryana, CM Manohar Lal asserted that a BJP government in Rajasthan would work towards resolving issues related to law and order, drug addiction, and irrigation water.
Drawing attention to the agricultural sector, the Chief Minister emphasized the party's commitment to establishing arrangements similar to those in Haryana, ensuring farmers in Rajasthan can sell their produce without having to travel to other states. He said that, like in Haryana, payments for agricultural produce would be made directly into the farmers' accounts.
Manohar Lal also compared the minimum support price (MSP) policies in Haryana and Rajasthan, noting that while 14 crops are purchased at MSP in Haryana, only 2 or 3 crops receive similar treatment in Rajasthan. He promised that, if the BJP forms the government in Rajasthan, efforts would be made to expand MSP coverage to include more crops, mirroring the successful practices in Haryana.
The Chief Minister expressed his vision for economic development, stating that the BJP would work towards strengthening Rajasthan's economic condition, much like the successful model in Haryana. He highlighted the effective pension system in Haryana, where the highest pension of Rs 3000 is provided to the elderly, as an example of the party's commitment to the welfare of the citizens.
During the road show, CM Manohar Lal addressed a public meeting in the Chunavadh village in the Sadulshahr assembly constituency. He urged the people to support BJP candidate Gurveer Brar and ensure a resounding victory for the party in the upcoming elections.
