Anil Vij said today that Prime Minister Narendra Modi aims to make India a developed nation by 2047, and we the 1.4 billion people are the wheels of the chariot he intends to ride to achieve this. Through the "Mann Ki Baat" program, Prime Minister Narendra Modi aims to strengthen our body, mind, and wealth.

Sh. Vij was speaking to media persons after listening to the live broadcast of the "Mann Ki Baat" program along with party workers at his booth in Shastri Colony, Ambala Cantonment.

He said that through the "Mann Ki Baat" program today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi explained how our scientists are working in space, particularly highlighting how Indian satellites are now serving farmers and soldiers. Previously, we were dependent on foreign satellites, but now indigenous satellites are being developed, making us self-reliant. The Prime Minister also expressed his views on other topics and called on people to strengthen the country. Before arriving at the Shastri Colony booth, former minister Anil Vij was welcomed by workers with flowers.

Regarding the National Conference's statement on Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, former minister Anil Vij said that the National Conference cannot remove Article 370 as it is a regional party. However, he questioned Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on the Congress party's stance on Article 370. Does Congress want to re-implement Article 370, which has been removed, bringing 70% peace to the region and ending the daily massacres, or does it want to reintroduce it? Rahul Gandhi should clarify his position on this before setting foot in Kashmir.

Former minister Anil Vij welcomed the Unified Pension Scheme

Welcoming the implementation of the Unified Pension Scheme by the central government, former minister Anil Vij said it is a very good decision. Central government employees will benefit from it, and he has also urged state governments to adopt it.

On BJP leader and boxer Vijender's statement about giving a ticket to Vinesh Phogat, former minister Anil Vij said that which party gives a ticket to whom is their issue, and which candidate our party gives a ticket to is our issue. We will give tickets to our best candidates, and a two-day marathon meeting has been held for this purpose. We have referred the panel to the central election committee.

On the question of the BJP requesting the assembly election date to be postponed, former minister Anil Vij said that in the declared election date, taking one holiday results in five consecutive holidays, which creates a fear that people will go out of town, reducing voter turnout. Congress has reacted to this, but we are not just talking about postponing the election date; the Election Commission may conduct the elections two or three days earlier if they wish. Whether the election is held tomorrow or any other day, our party is fully prepared to contest.

Reacting to NCP leader Ajit Pawar's statement on women's atrocities, former Home Minister Anil Vij said that India is highly committed to respecting women. In the Dwapar Yuga, Draupadi's disrobing led to the Mahabharata, and in the Treta Yuga, Sita's abduction led to the burning of Lanka, showing our commitment to women. If necessary, a law should be made against women's atrocities, but alongside that, sociologists, politicians, and religious leaders should work to raise awareness and eradicate evils from society. Society must be improved because not everything can be resolved with force. However, no one is talking about reforming society. Until we improve ourselves, just watching the hanging rope is not enough. The death penalty has existed for a long time, yet murders still occur. Therefore, influential people should unite to reform society and raise awareness among the people.
